The Melbourne Bowls Club specialises in hosting barefoot bowls and holding parties and functions. Barefoot bowling is allocated in 2 hours blocks and the fee includes all the equipment and a bowls host is on hand to assist with technique and rules of play. You can also hire the club rooms at reasonable rates for special parties if lawn bowls is not required. The room can hold fully seated guests up to 150 and standing can hold up to 300 people. Equipment such as microphones and projectors are available. There is a smaller boardroom style room also available for up to 28 people.
